Jennifer Bertram

Cumberland County Coordinator, Jennifer Bertram, is a wife, mother of 5 sons, foster and adoptive mom, and a daughter. Guided by her faith, she loves laughing at the adventures that life brings, from the everyday to the fantastical. Her love for words and storytelling began in her childhood and continued throughout her school years and beyond. She never lost her passion for stories as she began her career as a pediatric occupational therapist, working with children dealing with sensory integration disorder. Her first book, Lion's Big Move was published in 2022. Her most recent book, We Adopted a Shark, helps children learn to embrace the differences that each family member brings to their home. She is excited to share how she and her family have created positive ripple effects for the children and families who have been connected to her family.
